Dr. Robert Erdman

Dr. Erdman, a Florida native, was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. He and his wife, Toni, have three boys and live in Deltona.

Dr. Erdman received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1983 from Stetson University. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Science in 1987 from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a current member of the Central Florida Dental Implant Study Group, the Central District Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, as well as the American Dental Association.

Dr. Erdman's patients often comment on his gentle touch and his professional manner.

He enjoys fishing, boating, snow skiing, hunting and jet skiing.

Toni - Business Office

I have been in dentistry for 21 years handling the business office for Dr. Erdman. My favorite patient story is of a teenager in our practice. He told his dad he likes Dr. Erdman because Dr. Erdman never gave him a shot. This young man has had a number of fillings in our office so I know that Dr. Erdman had to get him numb. This young man never saw or felt what many patients fear. His comments really drove home the point that Dr. Erdman truly is a gentle dentist.

Ilene - Front Office

I have been in dentistry for 39 years, this is my third year at Dr. Erdman's office. We see many patients who, prior to coming to our office, have had some very unpleasant dental experiences. One of those patients stopped by our office recently not because she had an appointment, but just to say how much she appreciated our professional and caring attitude and to thank us for her "spa experience" whenever she come for her dental appointments.

Dottie - Front Office

I have been in dentistry for 49 years and am beginning my 12th year with Dr. Erdman. My fondest memory here is when a patient called for an appointment, she was ashamed to have anyone see her teeth as it had been a long time since she visited a dentist. My words of encouragement made her feel comfortable and she scheduled her first visit to see Dr. Erdman. She expressed how she did not feel judged in our office and she proceeded to have all her treatment completed. She remains on her regular hygiene schedule and is very happy.

I have been in dentistry for 3 years. In this short time in Dr. Erdman's office, I have seen people's appearance and outlook on life change. People who never smiled now smile, people in pain are relieved when the pain is resolved. There is nothing more rewarding then knowing you have touched someone's life and made a difference.

I have been a hygienist for 21 years, 16 years with Dr. Erdman. Recently, I provided a dental cleaning for a patient who is new to our office. After the cleaning she shared with me that her teeth had never been so thoroughly cleaned and with such a gentle touch. That comment from a new patient gave me such a rewarding feeling. I am frequently encouraged by the positive feedback that my patients share with me. Seeing people's dental health improve with my help and encouragement means a lot to me.
